beautiful surprise

when i opened my mailbox at noontime today, guess what? i found this paper bag with the words "to the most beautiful woman" (blush blush blush) and also my name on it. it's a gift bag from one of my students with all sorts of beauty products like facial mask, hair treatment lotion, and also some food. there's also a note expressing thanks for my teaching and also a reminder to keep myself beautiful hahaha =)

a great start

Gee! I have really abandoned my dear blogsplot for one full year and 3 months. Anyway, let's move on with a good start. I had a good start today when I woke up on my own (naturally) at 4:38 am, one full hour before the time I set for my alarm. After tossing back and forth on my bed and could not get back to sleep, I decide to get out of bed. It is the second day in a row that I wake up this early without the aid of my alarm and snoozer ;) ... and the 5th or 6th time over the past month or so. During these times I would have extended QT (quiet time and quality time) with the Lord as they are unhurried and my mind is fully alert. I went to bed at 9:30 last night because I was saying in my heart "Lord, please wake me up and meet me again ... speak to my heart again." When we are serious with Him, He will also be serious with us. It's great to start the day with the Lord.

With regards to the "white spaces" in between my blogs, I would make it up to you by "backtracking" to fill in the details from memory.
