Life in the Spirit-1

Thank God for speaking to my heart during my Quiet Time (QT) this morning:

*感謝主賜下聖靈! 求主幫助我能靠聖靈行事. Let me experience "life in the Spirit." 

Life in the Spirit - Lesson 1:

(1) Learn to let the Spirit guide my thoughts as I do my research on Kingdom of God (KOG) in Romans 14:17 and phroneo in Philippians.

(2) Lean on the Spirit to find the right resources for the research.

(3) Lessen panic and anxiety over not finding enough resources (most of the books on KOG have been checked out by other classmates in the same seminar) and how to go about the research.

research and writing

The casual sharing of two doctoral students is very encouraging and challenging. One is aiming to do "comps" on his 4th semester, and the other is working hard on his dissertation so he can graduate in December this year (3.5 years in the program). O Lord! Grant me wisdom and help me to like research and writing. It has always been a pressure and burden to write academic papers. Help me enjoy doing research and overcome the paralyzing hindrance of expressing my thoughts into words.
